Council is seeking Tenders from suitably qualified and experienced firms for the construction of a retaining wall and associated works including drainage at Upper Minimbah Rd, Northbridge to replace an existing failed sandstone block wall.

The proposed wall structure is a gravity/buttress structure using "Dincel" walling and mass concrete infill. Work will include the establishment of a safe work environment including access and support of, demolition and clearing of the failed sections of the existing wall and excavation to sound foundation level. Works also include the re-laying of a 525mm dia. stormwater pipe through the buttress structure.

A pre-tender meeting will be held on site at 18 Upper Minimbah Rd, Northbridge, commencing at 10am on Monday 13 November 2023. All prospective Tenderers are advised to attend the pre-tender meeting.
