Tamworth Regional Council (TRC) is seeking tenders from suitably qualified consultants to be engaged as a lead designer for tender number T168/2023 Design of the Tamworth Regional Aquatic Centre and Northern Inland Centre of Sport and Health.

This tender is a phased lump sum contract. The initial phase includes the detailed design of the facility to an indicative 10% stage suitable to accompany a development application. Subsequent optional phases involve progressing the design to a 90% detailed design stage. A future design and construction contractor is expected to be engaged towards the end of 2024, with the option for the contractor to novate the designer engaged under this tender (T168/2023).

Tenders close at 11:00am AEDT, Thursday 14 December 2023. A compulsory virtual meeting is required to be attended by prospective tenderers to be considered for the works. Details are available in the 'Conditions and Information for Tenderers'.

Council is not bound to accept the lowest or any tender and any Tenderer who directly or indirectly canvasses support from an elected member or servant of the Council will be disqualified.
