Tender Description

Programmed Facility Management (Programmed FM) has been engaged by Department of Communities to deliver a portion of the Social Housing Investment Fund (SHIF).

The SHIF is to aid in the WA Covid-19 economic recovery and support the WA Construction industry while improving the lifespan and quality of homes available for social housing. While the primary objective of SHIF is about creating jobs in the building and construction industry, SHIF also provides an opportunity to focus on employment outcomes for members of the community who experience barriers to employment and for those who are disproportionately impacted by the economic and social impacts of COVID-19. This includes Aboriginal people, women, youth and people with disability. The strategic principles underpinning this approach is to support the employment of Aboriginal people, women, youth and people with disability.

As part of this package Programmed Facility Management Pty Ltd (PFM) on behalf of Department of Communities are seeking Tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to undertake maintenance works at the following premises located within Geraldton:

  • Lot 41a, 4A Aaron Close, Karloo, WA, 6530
  • Lot 65, 27B Hardman Street, Rangeway, WA, 6530
  • Lot 2a, 4A Lawley Street, Spalding, WA, 6530
  • Lot 471, 9 Intombi Rise, Wandina, WA, 6530
  • Lot 620, 2/241 Eighth Street, Wonthella, WA, 6530

The Work includes but is not limited to maintenance, repair and/or replacement works to:

  • Ceilings
  • Skirting Walls
  • Doors
  • Flooring 
  • Flooring
  • Security Door
  • Painting of premises
  • Meter Box
  • Windows
  • Door Frame
  • Appliances
  • Cabinetry works
  • Fittings
  • General building works
  • Asbestos Removal works if applicable.


Tenderers shall make themselves familiar with the existing site conditions, the specifications, drawings and all Contract documentation.  All measurements and details shown on drawings or other documents (if any) are to be confirmed by Tenderers prior to  submission of their tender. 

 All materials and installation shall be supplied and be in accordance with Australian Standards and all codes and regulations relevant to the Scope of Work contained herein.
