The City of Launceston operate the Russell Plains Borrow as a resource for the Launceston Waste Centre landfill operations. Various zones of the landfill materials are sourced from the Borrow, namely clay liners, clay cap and shaping materials. The object of the project is to provide for the rehabilitation of Borrow 1, Borrow 2 and Borrow 3 as described in the Technical Specification and drawings.

A tender briefing will be held on Wednesday 8 November 2023 at Russell Plains Road, meeting at the intersection of Lilydale Road Rocherlea at 10.00 am.
