The research will be used to inform FFW Ltd and other interested parties on the level of awareness, attitudes, behaviors, habits and state of knowledge on food in differing segments in the community with regard to household food waste, the composition of household food waste; where the most waste occurs, and where the greatest potential to change behaviors and attitudes, to reduce and divert food waste exists. The research project consists of; Stage 1: gathering and presenting baseline data and Stage 2: three subsequent data collection surveys to track the progress that is being made in the NCBCC.
