Tender Description
The Aberfoyle Community Centre is a modern facility featuring several multifunctional spaces for meetings and community events of up to 120 people. To accommodate new types of programs targeted towards younger demographics and art programs, the Centre will receive an extension to the rear of the existing facility which will be connected with a new covered link.
The new extension is a relatively simple structure consisting of pre-cast concrete panels and a skillion roof and will necessitate additional fencing, car parking and landscaping treatments to integrate itself within the site. The physical separation will allow additional programs to be hosted simultaneously with other activities in the existing multifunctional rooms, increasing usage and flexibility for event programming.
The existing Centre will continue to operate, hosting community activities while construction is underway with the aim to minimize disruption where possible.
