Tender Description

The Alexandrina Council (AC) is looking to procure asset condition and compliance information relating to a number of AC sites within its buildings portfolio.

AC requires information, as follows:

  1. A condition assessment regarding the current state of building and site elements with a value greater than $2,000.
  2. Advice is required on compliance with the relevant codes and legislation, condition of the building elements and associated services and base building structure.
  3. Provision of a Plant and Equipment Register for each building including those items of low value but require regular testing e.g. Thermostatic Mixing Valves.

In the context of legislative obligations and asset management principles, the audit described herein is intended to provide information needed by AC to develop compliance action plans in conjunction with long range Asset Management Plans including a renewal program of its assets.

The buildings are located across the Council and occupied by either Council employees or community groups or businesses who lease the buildings.

The audits will be undertaken in 3 stages with Stage 1 funded in 2023-24. Stages 2 and 3 are planned to proceed but will be subject to further budget approvals. Pricing is required for all 3 stages.

The Council will enter into an Agreement for these Services with the successful Tenderer.
