Tender Description
The Queensland Government is seeking Proposals for the Establishment of a Peak Body for the Queensland Domestic and Family Violence Sector.
In response to Recommendation 17 of the Women’s Safety and Justice Taskforce (WSJT), Hear Her Voice – Report 1, the Queensland Government committed to establishing and resourcing a domestic and family violence (DFV) peak body for all specialist DFV services including shelters, and perpetrator intervention services.
It is intended that the role of the peak body will encompass providing sector leadership to unify, guide, and support the service system in response to reform initiatives. This will include undertaking strategic activities, fostering renewal, and promoting innovation. The peak body’s leadership responsibilities will extend to influencing policy, programs, and service delivery outcomes at local, state, and national levels.
