Tender Description
Bulk earthworks, drainage and associated services for the construction of the Narrandera Airport Parallel Taxiway being the earthworks of a 35,000m2, additional drainage works and installation of electrical pits and conduit, ready for the sealing of the parallel taxiway and run up bays.
The successful contractor shall be responsible to undertake:
• Establishment and Disestablishment to the designated compound area at the Narrandera Airport.
• Site surveillance and protections to ensure compliance with the Airside Special Event Zone. Additional requirements and airport closures will occur whilst tie-in with existing runways and aprons are undertaken.
• Survey setout of the nominated area of works, as per the design plans and works as executed drawings.
• Supply and operation of all equipment required to undertake the civil works required to excavate to the design depths/widths, including the disposal of spoil around the airport site.
• Supply and installation of all drainage as per the design.
• Supply and importation of all pavement materials and placement as per the pavement design Option 3 Narrandera Aerodrome – Alternative Pavement Options Report (excluding seal and line marking).
• Supply and installation of all electrical pits (concrete lids) and conduit as per the design, including the provision of draw wires.
There is a mandatory site inspection required for this tender, which will be held at 9am Monday 6th November 2023.
