Tender Description
"We are seeking software as a service that provides a licencing, public land hunting booking/permit system, native game bird program management, and intelligence, compliance, and enforcement system for NSW DPI Hunting. In addition, the system will also provide integrated mobile applications for NSW Hunters and Compliance Officers. The system supports NSW DPI Hunting to perform its regulatory functions, that includes but is not limited managing the following data:
•Annually there are around 25,000 current licensed hunters, of which 10,000 renew their licence each year with a 1, 2-, 3-, 4- or 5-year licence.
•On any given day there is only around 100 concurrent hunter users.
•Hunters obtain around 60,000 bookings/permits to hunt on public land and then complete the associated 60,000 harvest returns annually.
•Compliance Officers enter around 10,000 compliance events each year, which may result in licence suspension, cancellation, penalty notices or prosecutions.
•The Native Game Bird (NGB) program issues quota to around 150 owner/occupier licences each year, and hunters complete around 500 harvest returns.
•There are 358 declared forest that are updated quarterly and on an ad hoc basis.
•There are around 40 internal system users, 3 system administrators, and approximately 60 external users including Forestry Corporation, Police, etc.
•On any given day there is only around 25 concurrent system users."
