DEWR recognises the vast potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in revolutionising large-scale systems and enhancing operational efficiency. Through these Proof of Concepts (PoCs), we are not seeking a fully-fledged product-ready system given the complexity of the systems and the 12-week timeframe. Instead, our focus is on a design-centric sprint within the broader development process. The first PoC aims to explore the possibilities of AI-driven processing in Workplace Relations, with the goal of understanding how AI can be harnessed to automate and streamline the processing of Workplace Agreements. The second PoC is centered on the integration of Generative AI within our ServiceNow platform, aiming to enhance the efficiency of our support operatives. While these PoCs are primarily design-focused, it is imperative for the Department to witness working software by the end of the 12-week period. This will provide us with tangible evidence of the feasibility and potential impact of these AI-driven solutions within our operational framework.
