Central Highlands Regional Council are requesting quotes for the 12000-hour services for two Centrifuges details include Manufacturer – Andritz, Model – D4 LC 30 CHP, Drive – 30KW Bowl only. The Centrifuges form a part of the East Nogoa Water Treatment Plant sludge dewatering system at Rivergum Drive, Emerald, one centrifuge must be always available for use.
The D-Series Centrifuge Service Requirements scope includes (but not limited to):
• Check for Cleanliness around the centrifuge.
• Check for excessive vibration.
• Check for excessive bearing noise.
• Check that the temperature of pillow blocks does not exceed 80 deg.C
• Check Torque readings.
• Check for Grease leaks from Cyclo Unit
• Check for Product leakage from pillow block.
• Check flexible connectors for deterioration.
• Replacement of belts
• Repairs
• Replacement of bearings and seals
• Disassembly of reducer
• Repair of torque limiter
• Repair of belt tension system
• Renewal of cyclo grease and the screw stop bearing
Quote to itemise and include:
• Inspections and reporting
• Field service to decommission and recommission the Decanter D4L Centrifuges (three site visits, recommission of the first unit to occur in the same visit as decommissioning the second unit)
• Travel, accommodation, and freight costs.

CHRC have purchased the decanter D4L rubber isolators and are located on site at East Nogoa WTP. The field services works are to include the works associated with installation of these rubber isolators.
