Mobile Workforce Program (MWP) - Devices and Peripherals

⁠⁠⁠SAPOL is modernizing policing in South Australia through the Mobile Workforce Program.

This Invitation to Supply relates to the provision of mobile devices, peripherals and mobile device management services.

South Australia Police (SAPOL) is inviting suitably experienced suppliers to respond to this Mobile Workforce Program – Mobile Devices and Peripherals Invitation to Supply (ITS) for the provision of goods and services to SAPOL:

• Circa 7000 mobile devices and peripherals that will connect to SAPOL systems via the Mobile Workforce Program – Mobile Integration solution, to enable devices to operate as end-user computing devices, both in the field for police officers, and for in-office employees
• The mobile device must be able to extend into a desktop computing experience using peripherals including keyboard, dock, mouse, external screens, headphones and external storage to enable “work from anywhere” for all SAPOL employees
• Mobile Device Management (MDM) services
• Delivery, support, maintenance (including break-fix) and training services associated with the day-to-day use and management of the mobile devices for a geographically dispersed workforce that requires 24/7 coverage and heightened support in the event of emergency incidents.

This program seeks to place personally issued mobile end computing devices in the hands of every SA police officer and employee to achieve a true work from anywhere capability.

Suppliers should also note that the procurement evaluation will involve a proof-of-concept stage of up to three months.

Briefings

A briefing session will be held on 10:00 am 27 October 2023.

Notes: The session will be held via Microsoft Teams. Please contact the Contact Person by Friday 20th October 2023 to register. Two representatives per Supplier may attend.
