Tender Description
QPRC is preparing a Request for Tender (RFT) to engage a suitably qualified Contractor(s) to undertake kerbside domestic waste collection within designated waste collection zones across the Local Government Area. Council intends to procure based on the NSW EPA Model Waste Contract, which can be found.
The current contract expires in April 2025. It is anticipated that the RFT process will commence in the coming months and a contract executed by April 2024. The RFT process will be managed in accordance with the requirements of the Local Government Act 1993.
To assist in preparing the RFT, Council is seeking feedback from potential Tenderers on several matters. Council will review the information submitted and consider changes to the RFT at its discretion. Responses provided to this feedback request are not binding on the submitter, and do not form part of any future contract.
