MWRC (the Principal) is seeking professional organisations that can provide a high standard of capability in the delivery of Security Services for Mid-Western Regional Council buildings and sites with the local government area. This contract encompasses all aspects of security for Mid-Western Regional Council’s Buildings and open spaces. It will involve:

• locking and unlocking of specified Buildings and sites,

• cash pick up and transit,

• responding to alarm callouts and the inspection of the premises internally and externally when called for alarm activation after hours and

• reporting of all security incidents and service provisions.

2.1.2 This contract is for a 3-year term commencing 1 February 2024 and subject to acceptable performance, may be extended 2 x 1 year extension. The extension periods can only be executed if agreed to by both parties.

2.1.3 The contract requires the successful tender to be available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week for the provision of all relevant security services required by Council.

2.1.4 The successful tenderer will need to become familiar with all Council alarmed buildings by the way of a site inspection with a nominated Council representative during business hours, become familiar with Council’s relevant Policies & Procedures and undertake Council’s induction program (Local Government Induction).
