The BOT at Makoura College are seeking the services of a main roofing contractor to undertake the lower level re-roof of Block E and spouting to Block D.

The work is described in the tender documents prepared by IR Group and involves:

Remove and dispose of existing trough section iron roofing and underlay

• Supply and install new metal roofing and underlay to replace

• Move 8x exterior heat pump units down to ground level.

• Supply and install 8x galvanised steel cages to protect exterior units

• Remove 9x existing non-trafficable skylights.

• Supply and install 9x trafficable translucent skylights to replace

• Remove and dispose of old spouting

• Supply and install new spouting

• Remediate any rotten framing / fascia’s

• Remove and dispose of spouting and downpipes on Block D

• Supply and install new spouting and downpipes on Block D

• Leave site clean and tidy

Project consultants are:

o Project Manager: IR Group

o Lead Designer: N/A

Contractors should detail their plan to ensure an efficient delivery (eg. pre-order products, line up sub-contractors). Ensuring minimal disruption to the school and having an efficient programme are paramount.

The Contractor will be engaged through an MOE medium works contract (Construction contracts for professional services and works).
