TasPorts is looking for a suitably experienced asset management and maintenance consultant to undertake a review and make recommendations for TasPorts heavy fleet including trucks, dozers, forklifts, and mobile cranes (total approx. 50 units).

The units are located across the 4 major ports (Hobart, Bell Bay, Devonport, and Burnie) as well as the King and Flinders Islands.

TasPorts requires the consultant to:

- Undertake a condition assessment, including motors, running gear, electrical, hydraulic, and safety features of each asset.

- Collate, review, and assess maintenance history.

- Collate, review, and assess compliance history.

- Provide a list of defects and rectification recommendations.

- Based on the operational profile, develop an optimised and fully costed forward maintenance plan for each unit.

- Provide a fully costed optimised fleet renewal plan.

- Based on the operational profiles provide an emissions reduction pathway that is aligned with the fleet renewal plan, noting both current and likely future low emissions technology. Where proposed replacements are electrical, required charging infrastructure to meet operational needs is to be provided.
