Collection, Processing, Sale and Recovery of Recyclables

Woollahra Council is seeking a suitably qualified service provider to conduct the Council's weekly co-mingled residential recycling service within the Woollahra municipality.

The contract is for the collection of recyclables, their processing through an MRF, and sale. Furthermore, the contract also requires the storage, delivery, removal, and repair of recycling wheelie bins by the contractor using council-supplied bins and administration of daily service operations through adequate recording and reporting processes.

The term of the contract shall be 7 years from the date of commencement (August 2024) with a 3-year optional extension period.

The service should be high level, achieve Council service standards, adopt best practices, and continuous improvement in recycling whilst providing our residents with an efficient and cost-effective service.
