Provision of Traffic Response Units - South East Queensland

⁠⁠⁠The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) are seeking offers from suitably experienced and qualified traffic response service providers to establish a Standing Offer Arrangement (SOA) SEQSNO01/23 for the provision of Traffic Response Units – South East Queensland. TMR intends that a single supplier is appointed to service all three SEQ geographic regions (Metropolitan Region, South Coast Region, North Coast District).

Services are required to attend incidents on the state-controlled road network in the event that a disruption or obstruction poses a high safety risk, or a risk of restricting road network capacity compared with standards otherwise acceptable to the Customer. Accordingly, the Services are targeted towards, for example:

• Roads experience a critical level (or duration) of congestion;
• Roads subject to frequent disruption;
• Critical road sections and major interchanges; and
• Driver or passengers requiring immediate assistance.

In some circumstances including where an agreement is in place, the Contractor may be requested to undertake Services on Local Government networks.
