Scoping details: 

The Scope of Works (SOW) is for the Supplier to provide end to end FIFO aviation services to support the Projects expected 24-month construction period. The Project will require the supplier to provide and all-encompassing FIFO and aviation operations solution to and from the selected ports of origin of Townsville and Brisbane to Cloncurry or as otherwise directed at RFP stage. 

Specific Requirements:

The Charter services supplier will be required to provide:

a) Charter flight sectors to and from Brisbane (BNE) airport and Townsville (TSV) airport to Cloncurry (CNJ) airport. The services are to be provided multiple days of the week.

b) The provision of FIFO charter services for small capacity aircraft (10-20 seats) and high-capacity aircraft (20 – 100 seats) for different day of the week seat loadings, based on yet to be determined roster allocations and crew changeover days.

c) The FIFO Charter supplier is to provide all required groundside and airside operations and coordination at all points of departure including but not limited to:

(i) Interface with the Projects travel and accommodation software package to manage manifests based on approved bookings

(ii) Passenger check-ins & customer service

(iii) Freight receivals and handling

(iv) Baggage handling and groundside services

(v) Airside services

(vi) Flight operations

(vii) Airport passenger charges, landing fees and any 3rd party regulatory charges relating to the supply

(viii)Reporting and administrative duties in relation to management of KPIs in particular Safety and On Time Performance (OTP); and

(ix) Provision of company representatives at each port of departure.

d) The Supplier will also provide recover support options for Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations through existing fleet and crew or through third party arrangements to ensure that the scheduled services are delivered as required by the project roster schedule.

e) Work closely with ECMP and the Traditional Owners of the land, the Kalkadoon people to maximise opportunities for employment and training development.
