Maranoa Regional Council invites suitably skilled, qualified, and experienced businesses to submit a tender to lease and operate the Major Mitchell Caravan Park in Mitchell Qld 4465.

Council is seeking to award Leases over the Land in favour of the Tenderer subject to certain terms being negotiated and agreed upon.

The Major Mitchell Caravan Park has highway frontage to the Warrego Highway and connectivity to the township of Mitchell and the Great Artesian Spa complex via a walkway over the Maranoa River. The park has been successfully operated under lease arrangements since 2009.

The Park is located on a combined total of 2.7947 hectares, being 1.5855 hectares of freehold land and 1.2092 hectares reserve.

The Major Mitchell Caravan Park consists of the following:

• Park office

• Camp Kitchen

• Managed residence and shed

• Amenities block

• 16 caravan park sites with ensuites

• Small toilet block

• 43 powered sites

• Firepit

• Unpowered sites (unlimited capacity) • Picnic table and chair shelters
