Tender ID: 537335
Tender Details
Tender Description
The City of Onkaparinga owns the Paul Murray Recreation Centre (the Centre) facility which is leased to the Hub Gymnastics Club (Hub Gymnastics) and the 50’s Plus Activity Group to operate valued community sport and social activities. The centre was built in 1975 as a two-court basketball stadium and extended in 1996 to provide additional community facilities. It consists of a main gym hall, and an adjacent community room, supported by female and male amenities (toilets, showers), storage rooms, an office, reception foyer, and kitchen facilities.
This stand-alone facility is supported by an unlit, bitumen carpark with 58 spaces including two accessible carparks. The north-east portion of the site is serviced by a secondary driveway and is used for informal car parking, service access to the kitchen and external roller door access to the existing gym store.
To address the high demand for gymnastics in the region and to broaden the centre’s offering, the centre is planned to be upgraded and expanded to better service the needs of its users and provide a functional facility and address compliance requirements.
The successful tenderer will complete the Tender Reponse Forms before the closing date and provide a proposal that meets all mandatory criteria and suitably addresses the defined qualitative assessment criteria.
