Request for Quotation for Whaleback Golf Course - Coffee Suppliers

⁠⁠⁠Whaleback Golf Course (Whaleback) is a busy public golf course located in Parkwood within the City of Canning. Participation figures for FY 22-23 include 83,000 golf rounds and 60,000 driving range visitors. The driving range with 40 bays is the second largest in Perth. The venue also has six tennis courts.

After 40 years of outsourcing the management of Whaleback, the City of Canning will take all operations in-house from 18 December 2023 including the provision of food and beverage services. This will include the provision of coffee from the kiosk and function room.

The City is seeking a qualified and experienced Contractor to provide the cafe with coffee and coffee-associated products, including consumable products for use and sale purposes, promotional materials, and equipment products to facilitate the preparation of coffee for sale.

The contract term will be two (2) years with the option of an additional 12 months as the City of Canning's option.

Handover of the Whaleback site to the City will occur on Sunday 17 December in the afternoon. The City will bump-in Sunday afternoon and will open Whaleback to patrons on Monday 18 December.
