Tender Description

The Principal is seeking Tenders from suitably qualified, licenced, and experienced contractors to undertake the supply and installation of split system air-conditioning units, and decommissioning and disposal of existing packaged units to eight (8) residential properties in Newman.

The Contractor will be required to undertake but is not limited to, the following:-

Decommission of the existing external packaged units at each residence.
Disposal of the packaged units.
Electrical connections to the power board for the new split systems.
Electrical switchboard upgrade, where required*.
External ducting removed, eaves repaired, painted and made good.
Patching/painting, if required.
One property requires the removal of internal ceiling c, returns and controls (Refer to Item 2.8).

Tenderers to Note:

Tenderers must identify any requirement for a property to have an electrical switchboard upgraded in order to ensure there is capacity to handle the new air-conditioning system's load. Tenderers must include any electrical switchboard upgrade requirements within their Tender response and tendered pricing.

Tenderers shall also identify the number and kW size of split systems required to provide the optimum cooling capacity of the m2 area of the living and/or other adjacent areas, as indicated for each property.

Requests for Variations to Contract, in respect to electrical switchboard upgrade and other electrical requirements, at a later date will not be accepted.
