Tender Description
This scope of work for the Barossa Project involves the supply of a suitable Heavy Lift Vessel to transport cargo from Singapore to the Northern Territory, including all project management and engineering works. Cargo shall be a mixture of product reels, installation aids, and transportation frames/baskets.
A portion of the cargo is to be discharged directly to Subsea 7’s Installation Vessel (Seven Oceanic), while the remainder is to be discharged at Darwin’s East Arm Wharf.
The proposed HLV shall be able to transport the following cargo:

- In addition to the above key cargo, there will be approximately 135x lifts, with a maximum individual weight of 85Te.
- Approximately 9000m3 / 2600Te of cargo in total
Subsea 7 is interested in identifying suppliers that can service the above scope. Suppliers must own the proposed vessel or have immediate access to a vessel that can be nominated for the work. At this juncture, alternatives to the HLV are not being considered.
