Tender Description
Tetra Tech International Development is seeking the services of suitably registered and qualified Service Provider to have specialist expertise on medical waste management and specifically the procurement and installation of incinerators in resource constrained and remote settings (preferably in Pacific Island Countries and Territories).
The Fiji Health Program is now seeking the following services:
Labasa Hospital – provide advice on procurement and installation of new incinerator and housing block.
CWM Hospital – provide recommendations on health care waste management at CWM Hospital for MHMS, including potential areas of support for development partners. This should focus on storage and handling of medical waste at CWMH, including modalities for safe medical waste management (such as transporting to the Naboro Landfill), and options for the use of the incinerator procured by MHMS.
Taveuni Hospital – Australia is undertaking a master-planning process and seeks guidance on the most appropriate medical waste management system, confirmation of appropriate location and approach.
Kadavu Hospital – Australia is undertaking a master-planning process and seeks guidance on the most appropriate medical waste management system, confirmation of appropriate location and approach.
Tetra Tech International Development International is governed by the requirements of the Australian Government’s Commonwealth Procurement Rules as a non-corporate Commonwealth entity. The core principle of the Commonwealth Procurement Rules being achieving value for money.
