Litchfield Council plan, provide and manage Council's Road network and other infrastructure to ensure the social, cultural and economic success of the Litchfield Municipality. Our roads play a significant role in our local economy.

• A general outline of the work to be carried out under the Contract comprises:
• Maintenance of unsealed roads,
• Maintenance of sealed roads shoulders,
• Re-gravel works on unsealed pavements,
• Shoulder top-up works on shoulders of sealed pavements,
• Stabilisation maintenance
• Concrete maintenance
• Drainage maintenance
• Protection works maintenance
• Provide and /or procure labour, plant, and equipment for emergency events and route clearance.
• Construction or re-construction of Roads

The sites of the Works are located within the Litchfield Council Road network.

The road network within the Litchfield Council consists of 552 roads in total. 631.05 km of the road network are sealed roads and 85.84 km are unsealed roads.
