Panel of Providers for Electrical Test and Tag

⁠⁠⁠The Central Highlands Regional Council (CHRC), hereinafter referred to as the principal, is seeking tenders for the establishment of a Panel of Providers to perform the Electrical Test and Tag requirements across the Council Region according to AS/NZS 3760:2022 and Council Procedure ECM #829112.

The period of this contract is three years with an option to extend for another three years.

Background information / Compatibility requirements

Details

This scope of work comprises testing and tagging of the required portable electrical appliances and RCD’s testing and tagging of both push-button testing and injection testing located within the council region.

All testing and tagging will be according to council procedure and AS/NZS 3760:2022. The updated procedure has defined Water Utilities and Depot's electrical equipment within their perimeters as manufacturing environments, portable electrical equipment in a service & office environment does not require testing if they are protected by an RCD, and ‘Usually moved’ portable electrical equipment in a service & office environment will be tested.
