Tender Description

At the time of publishing this invitation to register an interest, the supply includes the design, manufacture, supply and site support for installation / commissioning of the Pressure Reducing Station.

The Project requires a fully functional skid mounted pressure reducing station suitable for hydrogen applications, with primary and secondary pressure control valve, an Over Pressure Protection Valve (OPPO) in the event of a controls valve set failure, complete with all the required instrumentation and piping. The purpose of the hydrogen pressure reduction station is to reduce the pressure of stored hydrogen (approximately 12 Mpag) to meet the downstream pressure requirement (approximately 3.8 Mpag). Under the Work Health and Safety Regulation 2011 (Qld), the Facility is classified as a Major Hazard Facility (MHF) and the supplied equipment shall be suitable for the applicable hazardous area classification requirements.

The supply includes but is not necessarily limited to:

• Pressure control valves

• Over pressure protection valves

• Sensing lines

• Piping complete with instrumentation and controls

• Valves for isolation, purge/drain, and maintenance

• Welding and coating; and

• Site assistance for setting the pressure and commissioning.

The supplier shall provide a skid-mounted, fully fabricated, and tested skid. There may be a requirement to supply additional pressure reduction valves for other services, such as nitrogen, LPG, and/or natural gas, although such requirement shall be determined by Gibson Island H2 during detailed design. The Project, including this package AUS1004P0017, is subject to internal approvals. The procurement process or scope may change at Gibson Island H2’s election, including to accommodate project budget and time requirements.
