Tender Description
Power and Water requires a contractor to replace the end-of-life asbestos cement pipes with new PVC pipe including lot connections and upstands, installation of smart meters, ancillary equipment and parts Including hinge pole antenna and receiver.
The proposed works include:
- Water reticulation main alignment utilizing the pedestrian bridge
- Associated pipe, valves, hydrants, and road crossings
- Asbestos reticulation main capping and required disposal
- Temporary connections and bypasses
- Removal of lot connections and redundant upstands
It is critical that the construction of this project be undertaken in the 2023 dry season as there are road access and construction limitations in the wet season. All Works shall comply with the Power Water Corporation master project specifications.
