Whitsunday Coast Airport (WCA) – Upgrade and Maintenance Services for Augmented Reality Equipment

⁠⁠⁠Whitsunday Regional Council (Council) are seeking a Supplier to upgrade and maintain the content on the Augmented/Virtual Reality screen located in the near the baggage arrival carousels at the Whitsunday Coast Airport (WCA). This screen has been viewed by over 1 million passengers, who have passed through the Airport since the 2019 major WCA Terminal Upgrade.

The current content being displayed on the screen is showcasing different parts of our beautiful Whitsunday Region, being from bush to reef.

Council is looking to upgrade the content to a more modern display and are open to options which can be offered to truly enhance the Whitsunday Region and to offer our customer experience while waiting for their baggage to arrive.

The contract will be offered for a period of two years, with an additional twelve-month extension at Council's sole discretion.
