SASE and Edge Routers

⁠⁠⁠WorkCover Queensland is undertaking an Invitation to Offer (ITO) for WCQ365 SASE and Edge Routers.

WorkCover Queensland (WorkCover) is seeking a single supplier for the provision of SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) and Edge Routers Solution for a contract term of up to 5 years (3 years with 2 x 1-year extension options). WorkCover currently operates in a traditional on-premises data centre-centric network environment. Workloads are currently hosted in data centres but moving to the cloud and a mix of Software as a Service (SaaS) providers. Due to divestment from physical data centres, WorkCover requires a Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) solution to enable the change to our networking topology, shifting network traffic for end users and our head office to be independent of our physical data centres. This service should also incorporate services that will support improved cyber security measures.

Critical components in-scope for initial implementation include:

• Zero trust network access (ZTNA)
• Network firewalling services
• Security services at the end-user device or gateway; e.g., malware inspection.
