SPS Renewal Package 2 (HB1, ES1, RE1, TB5, CV1, WW1A, YK1B, CB2, GO3, GO4, R22, R27)

⁠⁠⁠Cairns Regional Council (the Principal) is inviting submissions from suitably qualified and experienced Contractors for the works associated with the upgrade at several sewage pumping stations across 12 locations.

The following sites are included for works under Contract 75700:

Separable Portion 1:

- PCS22406 - Sewage Pumping Station R27 renewal

- PCS19406 - Sewage Pumping Station YK1B refurbishment

Separable Portion 2:

- PCS22402 - Sewage Pumping Station ES1 renewal

- PCS22410 - Sewage Pumping Station HB1 Asset Renewal of Electrical and Mechanical Assets

- PCS22413 - Sewage Pumping Station RE1 Asset Renewal of Electrical and Mechanical assets

Separable Portion 3:

- PCS19409 - Sewage Pump Station CB2 Refurbishment

- PCS22407 - Sewage Pump Station CV1 Renewal of Electrical and Mechanical Assets

- PCS22412 - Sewage Pumping Station TB5 Electrical Mechanical Asset Renewal

Separable Portion 4;

- PCS22411 - Sewage Pumping Station GO3 Asset Renewal of Electrical and Mechanical Assets

- PCS21404 - Sewage Pumping Station GO4 Electrical Mechanical Asset Renewal

- PCS22405 - Sewage Pumping Station R22 Renewal

- PCS22409 - Sewage Pumping Station WW Mechanical Electrical and Wet Well Upgrade

Tenders must be based on the entire scope of works for the separable portion/s for which they are submitting.

Each separable portion may be awarded to a separate Tenderer or a Tenderer may be awarded more than one separable portion.

The Principal is under no obligation to accept the lowest or any Tender for any separable portion/s of Works.

Enquiries: Tender enquiries, questions or clarifications should be directed via the online forum. Cairns Regional Council officers are unable to respond to verbal enquiries in relation to the tender. The forum will close five (5) days prior to the closing time and date. Please ensure that all questions, information requests and clarifications are posted prior to this time.

Lodgment of Submissions: Completed responses must be lodged by uploading the submission electronically, using the response forms within the tender documentation.

We strongly recommend that you begin uploading your tender submission files at least four (4) hours BEFORE the tender closing time.

Closing Time and Date: The tender closes at 4:30 PM, Thursday 5 October 2023. Submissions must be fully received by this time. Late, verbal or emailed tenders may not be accepted and will be subject to Council's sole discretion.

Submissions will not be opened publicly. The lowest or any tender may not necessarily be accepted.

Council reserve the right to change the specifications prior to making a decision on the submissions received in response to this invitation.

Council may invite all Respondents to change their submission to take into account any change in the tender specifications.

Tenders are to remain valid for a period of 120 days from the Closing Time.
