Register of Preferred Suppliers of Hire of Plant & Equipment

⁠⁠⁠Tenders are invited for the Wet & Dry Hire of Plant and Equipment for a period of twenty-four (24) calendar months with a new Contract being entered into on 1st January 2024 and expiring on 1st January 2026.

The second year will have a percentage increase applied to the first year's hire rate This percentage increase will be a construction industry standard percentage rate Contractors will be notified of this in December 2025 so the new rate can be applied for January 2026.

The council has reviewed the plant required for Value for Money operation and has outlined the list below with the mandatory requirements of each plant item to be eligible for tender.

All plants offered must meet the following criteria:

• Be owned and or hired and or leased by the Tenderer and it is necessary that in respect of the “Lease” and “Hire” a copy of the agreement should be current and be included in the submission.

• Have current registration to be submitted with the tender

• Have a current Certificate of Inspection (COI) to be submitted with the tender

Tenderers can have multiple plants & equipment listed under each category of plant. The council is not restricting the amount of plants per category.
