Business opportunity on offer at new tourism precinct

⁠⁠⁠With the new Utes in the Paddock Tourism Precinct scheduled to open in early November, a unique opportunity is on offer in Condobolin.

Lachlan Shire Council is seeking expressions of interest from individuals or businesses to independently operate a café within the new Lachlan Shire Visitor Information Centre.

It is expected that the successful café operator will provide quality food and beverage offerings; have a strong desire to grow a successful business; and have a passion for the provision of outstanding customer service.

The Café features a full commercial kitchen, freezers and refrigerators, air conditioning and heating, tables and chairs, an outdoor deck with an external servery window, and an electronic menu board.

Lachlan Shire Council General Manager Greg Tory said, “The Café will add to the visitor experience and is an exciting opportunity for someone to create a space for people to take a break, and enjoy good food and coffee while planning the next leg of their trip.

There may also be an opportunity for the successful operator to provide catering for a small number of functions and events held at the Centre.”
