Water Playground Testing and Maintenance

The City of Cockburn (The Principal) is seeking the services of a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor to conduct twice-daily water testing and maintenance of its water playgrounds. The City has two (2) water playgrounds where works shall be conducted; Ngarkal Beach, North Coogee, and The Sidings, Junction Boulevard at Cockburn Central.

Testing shall be conducted in accordance with the Department of Health guidelines. The system shall be tested and commissioned daily to ensure it is operating efficiently and in compliance with Department of Health Guidelines. Records are required to be maintained and submitted to the City.

Ngarkal Beach, North Coogee: 484 tests annually during the period 1st September to 30 April.

The Sidings, Cockburn Central: 424 tests annually during the period 15th September to 14th April.

The Contractor; under the proposed Contract, will be required to provide all labor, plant, tools and equipment, materials, transportation/cartage, administrative costs, traveling expenses etc., and anything else necessary for the completion of the works/services.

The proposed contract shall be in force for a period of three (3) years from the date of contract award, with the Principal instigated options to extend the period for a subsequent one (1) year period and up to a further twelve (12) months.

It is the Principal's expectation that the Contract is expected to commence in September 2023.
