Tender Description
The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of the Prep Playground at Talara Primary College, located in Talara St, Currimundi QLD 4551, as part of the School Infrastructure Enhancement (SIE) program.
The proposed prep playground includes civil, building, hydraulics and landscaping works, and excludes play equipment or apparatus. The position of the prep playground is at the front of the school with adequate site access and limited working space. All works are to be completed by January 2024.
Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:
- Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
- Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1,000,000
QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
