Establish a panel of qualified Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) to deliver essential first aid training including remote and isolated sites (HLTAID011&HLTAID013) and resuscitation (HLTAID015).

Project goals

Supplier Panel Creation: Select and appoint a panel into a contract in the form ofthe Standing Offer Head Agreement - Panel Arrangement, with registered training organisations (RTOs) capable of delivering HLTAID011 Provide First Aid, HLTAID013 Provide First Aid in remote or isolated site (Desirable) and HLTAID015 Provide Advanced Resuscitation and Oxygen Therapy qualifications.

Training Delivery Locations: Organise training sessions across New South Wales at multiple SES Unit locations, ensuring accessibility and convenience for SES Unit members.

Comprehensive Tender: Request tender submissions from potential suppliers detailing the cost of training delivery, including travel, accommodation, and meal expenses for trainers. The tender should also include all necessary training resources required for effective instruction.

Training Resources: Ensure that the selected training suppliers provide all required training resources, materials, and equipment necessary for both theoretical and practical training components.

Flexible Delivery Options: Incorporate options for both blended learning andface-to-face training delivery methods, allowing SES Unit members to choose theformat that best suits their learning preferences and schedules.

Scope

HLTAID011 Provide First Aid - This unit describes the skills and knowledge requiredto provide a first aid response to a casualty in line with first aid guidelines determined by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and other Australian national peak clinical bodies.

HLTAID015 Provide Advanced Resuscitation and Oxygen Therapy - This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to use specialised equipment in the provision of resuscitation and oxygen therapy in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines.

HLTAID013 - Provide First Aid in remote or isolated site (Desirable - This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to acasualty in a remote or isolated site over an extended period of time until medical assistance is provided, or evacuation occurs. The training is required to be conducted at all NSW SES Zones throughout New South Wales and on a needs basis can be delivered through blended learning.
