Security Services

⁠⁠⁠The Town of Port Hedland is seeking to appoint a licensed, professional security contractor(s) possessing the expertise to provide (as required): 

1) Fixed/static security to Town of Port Hedland facilities including, but not limited to, JD Hardie Community Centre, South Hedland Aquatic Centre, South Hedland Library, Matt Dann Theatre, Port Hedland Community Centre, Port Hedland Aquatic Centre, and Wanangkura Stadium, primarily during open hours, including weekends and public holidays.

2) Fixed/static security to Town of Port Hedland events, including but not limited to Spinifex Spree, Australia Day events, NAIDOC concert and youth events, youth programs and leisure programming. Security needs range from 2-10 security staff and includes overnight asset protection. Work includes weekends and public holidays, including 24hrs.

3) Mobile security patrols operating a 12-hour overnight shift, patrolling Port Hedland, South Hedland, and surrounding areas of interest.

4) Monitoring services and response to personal duress alarm systems at the Civic Centre, Wedgefield Depot, Wanangkura Stadium, South Hedland Library, JD Hardie Community Centre, and the South Hedland Aquatic Centre.

All fixed/static security services will be engaged on an ad-hoc or as required basis. Mobile security patrols will initially be engaged on an ad-hoc or as required basis, however there is the potential for these to be formalized to cover school holiday periods or 365 days per year.
