Tender Description
Council has an ongoing duty to maintain kerbs and channels to an adequate condition in line with the Road Management Plan. As part of the 10-year capital works program, the 2023-2024 Kerb & Channel Program will ensure that identified areas of kerb and channel requiring remediation within the Shire are returned to the necessary standard.
The kerb and channel program is completed annually ahead of the Reseal Preparation Program to ensure that the surface and pavement is suitable for a reseal. This process ensures all components of the road will last the expected 10-year service life.
