11504 Immunisation Services

⁠⁠⁠The City of Salisbury (the Council) invites Tenders for the provision of immunisation services at various sites, including but not limited to, Salisbury Community Hub, Burton Community Hub, Ingle Farm Recreation Centre and Mawson Centre. (the Services). The Council will enter into a Contract for Services with the successful Tenderer.The successful Tendered will work with Council to identify and implement an immunisation strategy for the minimisation of vaccine preventable diseases and support Council’s objectives to improve health and wellbeing outcomes for its community. Childhood Immunisation Services:

The successful Tendered must have current Ministerial Approval of an Organisation to Deliver Immunisation Programs as regulated by SA Health.

• Council aims to minimise preventable diseases by providing an immunisation service in accordance with Section 38 SA Public Health Act 2011 and currently provides free immunisation services for pre-school and eligible school children
• Vaccinations to be provided at Childhood Immunisation Services clinics at various sites, but not limited to, Salisbury Community Hub, Burton Community Hub, Ingle Farm Recreation Centre and Mawson Centre.
• School Immunisation Program:

The School Immunisation Program is funded by SA Health. Immunisation services are provided at participating high schools within the Salisbury local government area in accordance with the provisions of the annual funding and service agreements between Council and SA Health.

The School Immunisation Program is provided within normal school hours at participating schools.

The successful Tenderer will commence provision of these Services from Term 1 of the 2024 school year.

The City of Salisbury (the Council) will enter into a 3 year base contract with the successful Tenderer, with two +1 year extension options. The extension options will be subject to the successful Tenderer's satisfactory performance and the Council’s ongoing need and budget availability.
