Tender Description
Erskine Park Urban Reinvestment Project
Erskine Park Urban Reinvestment is an innovative project by Penrith City Council to revitalise public spaces and deliver a new residential offering to the suburb.
As part of the Greater Western Sydney region, Erskine Park is located 42 kilometres west of the Sydney central business district and is approximately 20 kilometres from both the Penrith and Parramatta CBD’s.
It's a thriving established community that provides an abundance of parks, excellent transport links and amenities.
This project will feature land lots with a diverse range of housing options, including single residential, dual living or dual occupancy homes featuring best practice sustainable design and inclusions while ensuring consistency with the existing residential development standards of the neighbourhood.
Council aims to deliver an environmentally sensitive development by minimising water and energy consumption, while also retaining trees and biodiversity on the sites.
The award-winning Erskine Park Urban Reinvestment Project provides an opportunity for Penrith City Council to showcase innovation through demonstration by targeting levels of sustainability in the homes which is beyond best practice.
Six subdivision Development Applications (DA) were approved by the Local Planning Panel in late 2022. The DAs are subject to Consent Conditions for each site. A civil construction contractor or project management firm with superintendent (in conjunction with a civil contractor), is required to deliver the next stage of the project, subdivision construction and certification to prepare the sites for sale.
