The works scope covers the removal of the existing small diameter RCP culverts and floodway with the installation of a twin cell RCBC along with the construction of approach roads, retaining wall, 2-coat seal and guardrail.

The construction will need to be staged with a temporary side track constructed to maintain 24 hour access to the residents west of the site location.

The works takes place under conditions imposed and enforced by Fisheries NSW. Contractors are advised to familiarize themselves with the terms of the Work on Waterway Permit and to ensure that their intended construction sequence will adhere to the relevant permit conditions. Mitigation measures may include disproportionate amounts of silt fencing, the temporary utilization of a low-flow diversion pipe and sandbag coffer dams.

RCBC units will be supplied by Council in early 2024 with unloading on-site the responsibility of the contractor.

A non-compulsory pre-tender meet will be held on site at 2pm on Friday August 18 2023.

Tenderers may inspect the site at any time however attendance at the non-compulsory site meeting is encouraged and advised.
