Industry Briefing - Common Command and Control of Uncrewed Systems Design Guidance

This notification is to advise the industry of the C4ISR Design Directorate (FID, VCDF) intent to conduct the following Industry Briefing:

What: Common C2 of Uncrewed Systems (UxS) C4ISR Design Guidance

When: 8th September 2023 Start: Doors open at 0900 for a 0930 start. End: 1200

Where: The Ngunnawal Room, Building R1 Russell Offices, Reg Saunders Way Russell ACT

Background: C4ISR Design Directorate, in collaboration with RICO, WIN, and JERICHO, has developed a Common C2 of Uncrewed Systems (UxS) C4ISR Design Guidance. The Common C2 of UxS Design Guidance provides the logical reference architecture and standards that define how C2 systems will exercise C2 over heterogeneous UxS at the Integrated Force level.

The Design Guidance will form interoperability requirements for future programs and projects acquiring uncrewed systems for the ADF. This workshop is an opportunity for industry to:

 - Understand the proposed Design Guidance

 - Understand how different uncrewed systems capabilities may fit into the Design Guidance

 - Provide feedback to Defence on the implications for extant/developing/future uncrewed systems

 - Provide feedback on the set of standards identified in the Design Guidance.

Attendees are encouraged to familiarise themselves with local vehicle parking requirements and allow sufficient time to walk from car parks to the Ngnunnawal Room.
