The Council of the City of Sydney ("Council") invites tenders for Pylon Projection Infrastructure for Sydney New Year's Eve 2023-2025 (with the option to extend to 2026-2028) in accordance with this Request for Tender.

The City of Sydney ("City") produces the annual Sydney New Year's Eve event ("Event") with support from a number of government agencies. The Event is one of the largest annual celebrations in the world, attracting over one million spectators along the foreshores of Sydney Harbour and a global audience of one billion.

One of the key effects on the Sydney Harbour Bridge is the projection of still and moving images onto the pylons ("Pylon Projections"). The projections are used as a creative event element, as well as to communicate important public messaging such as Community Service Announcements, sponsor recognition, and emergency messaging.

Pylon Projections are required on four faces of the Sydney Harbour Bridge pylons. Projections are to be operated from four specific locations ("Projection Sites").

The City requires the services of an experienced organisation ("Service Provider") to provide pylon projection infrastructure as well as equipment and services to operate and manage a number of the Projection Sites for each Event during the term as outlined in the Specification section of this Request for Tender.

Bidders must provide a quotation for the services detailed in the specification as part of their tender response.
