At a glance Technical writer / content designer to work in a small, agile, and inclusive team; designing and building templates and publishing workflows for a combined internally and externally facing technical dataset overview and metadata catalogue Practical experience with Restructured Text and Markdown markup languages; Jupyter Notebooks, Sphinx/Read the Docs; automated workflow development with GitHub Actions; source code management in GitHub and Bitbucket and Agile practices is strongly preferred 3+ 3 months contract Area Overview Geoscience Australia’s Digital Earth Australia Program (DEA) uses satellite imaging, cloud computation and cutting-edge science to enable decisions that support a sustainable Australian environment, a resilient society, and a strong economy.

We would like to engage a contractor to support the amalgamation of an existing standalone technical dataset overview and metadata catalogue with an existing Read the Docs –like technical documentation site.
