Scenic Rim Regional Council (SRRC) is rejuvenating Beaudesert's Town Centre in a staged series of contract packages. Recently completed works include the Selwyn Street opening with Helen Street (including the Brisbane Street roundabout) as well extensive stormwater works and a carpark upgrade.
This tender is to relocate CWA building by October 2023, extend and renovate the CWA building by March 2024. Key objectives are to minimise any negative impacts to the community, construct a quality facility for the CWA as well as provide value-for-money.
Separate contract packages will also be undertaken in parallel to upgrade the Gateway Park as well as significant drainage, utilities, pavement and landscaping works along Short and Brisbane Streets.
The worksite is in a busy commercial centre for Beaudesert. As such, there are construction constraints including existing services and the requirement to maintain pedestrian and vehicle traffic.
