This Registration of Interest (ROI) is a public notice seeking registrations from organisations with capabilities to design, manufacture, deliver, and install Synchronous Condensers.
The NSW Government's announcement of the Hunter-Central Coast (HCC) Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) sets out the network capacity, location, and infrastructure that will make up the REZ (click here. Although the timing and scope for delivery of the new HCC REZ infrastructure is still on the early stages of planning and design, Ausgrid projects a requirement for Synchronous Condensers for the new network infrastructure.
As a Synchronous Condenser is a new technology for Ausgrid's Network, the purpose of this ROI process is to gain information about organisations that are capable to design, manufacture, deliver, and install Synchronous Condensers in Australia.
