Tender Description

Tenders are invited for the construction of a new signalised upgrade of the road intersection at Cooney Road and Bli Bli Road, Nambour.

The Contractor must have and maintain for the life of the Contract, Department of Transport & Main Roads (DTMR) pre-qualification as stated below. Contractor Prequalification Status will be assessed in accordance with the DTMR published prequalification list, Contractor Prequalification Status, Transport and Main Roads, June 2023.

  • Financial – F5
  • Roadworks – R3
  • Asphalt – A2

The scope of works includes, but is not limited to:

  • Supply and installation of new traffic signals;
  • Civil works including minor road shoulder widening and drainage;
  • Reconstruction of private access driveways, road resurfacing, and line marking;
  • Traffic and Community Management;
  • Modification, protection, and liaison with Public Utility Plant (PUP) Infrastructure;
  • All applications and approvals (excluding TMR Energex, Unitywater, and Telstra) required by governing bodies and utility providers;
  • Full Quality Assurance (QA) compliance – undertake all soil & concrete testing, provide test reports and QA documentation in accordance with DTMR specifications and standard drawings;
  • Lighting installation, in accordance with Energex and DTMR Standards.
