1. Background

James Cook University (JCU) is seeking to maximise its offering of Salary Packaging Options to its current and future employees, whilst minimising any complexity in administration for employees considering participating in, currently participating in, and finalising packaging arrangements. Of critical importance is minimising administration for JCU.

1. General

Tenders are invited by JCU for the implementation of a full and comprehensive Salary Packaging Program, including Salary Sacrifice Options, as specified in this invitation document.

1. Panel of Providers

JCU currently offers a comprehensive Salary Packaging Program, including Salary Sacrifice options, to its employees. The existing arrangement will expire in November 2023. This RFT is for the continuation of this program via the provision of services from a panel of suitably qualified providers, to provide choices to JCU employees

1. Period of Contract

The term of the Contact will be for a 3-year period, inclusive of the development and implementation phase, with the possibility of 2 further extension options of 3 years each. Any extension will be subject to JCU’s satisfaction with the performance of the successful Tenderers and JCU's requirements.

The Successful Tenderers are to confirm their ability to provide the Tendered services for the period of the contract.
